Breedon High Strength Cement 25kg

Breedon have developed a cement that has a base of their standard Portland Cement, combined with the BS EN 197-1 CEM I 52,5N regulations to guarantee a high strength and durable formula. This cement is particularly suitable for projects where 7 and 28 day strength and a quick turnaround tim are fundamental to performance, including precast, groundwork and cold weather working. It is essential that this cement is used and stored correctly, being spaced in unopened bags clear from the ground, in cool dry conditions and protected from weather conditions such as damp, frost heat and excessive draught.

It must also be noted that strength will develop beyond the initial set time stated and has been assessed at 28 days. Setting and curing times will vary depending on water content used and ambient weather conditions. To assist the curing process, it is important that all cement-based materials are protected after placement, to avoid moisture loss, freezing and effects of hot and cold weather conditions.
