We offer completely polished BB-grade birch plywood sheets 4 mm in thickness. These precisely sanded moisture-resistant plywoods you can use for wall cladding and roofing. You can use these robust surfaces for floor covering. As a high-strength structural material, we ensure they are moisture-resistant to use on exterior building projects. These 4mm sheets contain a number of layered birch veneers assembled together with accurate customization before delivery. We also avail CP grade birch plywood of 4mm thickness that does not compromise the strength and consistency.
Grading Information:
BB/BB Grade: BB Grade boards are the smoother form of Plywood, they are graded to allow fewer patches, knots and imperfections, this makes them appropriate for furniture work on both sides of the board. These board are suitable for all general work, including CNC Machining.
BB/CP Grade: BB/CP Grade boards differ from the BB Grade in the fact that they allow for more patches, knots and imperfections, due to the fact that one side of the board is the smoother BB Grade, while the other is CP Grade. This means that this type of board is more suitable for furniture in a project where one side of the board is of importance, prioritising the BB Grade side for the outward facing side of a project. Suitable also for most general work including CNC Machining.

What are the different grades of birch plywood?
The different grades of birch plywood are B/BB, BB/BB, BB/CP, CP/CP and C/C. All of these grades are different and can be used for various parts of a project.
Is birch plywood strong?
Birch plywood uses veneers that are squashed together at right angles. This is called cross-bonding and it makes it stronger when more layers are added. Because of the interlocked pattern of the grain, you should pre-drill the sheet to make cutting the panel easier. We also provide a cutting service.
Can birch plywood be painted?
Yes, birch plywood is light in colour and takes paint well. It’s ideal for furniture and anything else where you require a clean finish. It is also possible to stain birch plywood sheets but you may need to prepare the wood for the best results.
Is birch plywood waterproof?
