Galvanised Wheelie Bin Axle for 360L Bins
In the unlikely even that any part of our Wheelie Bins need replacing, we stock replacement Wheelie Bin Axles that are perfectly compatible with the Standard Wheelie Bins available and assist the wheels in making the bins easy for transportation. The 660mm axle is designed to fit our range of 360 Litre Wheelie Bins and is made of high quality galvanised steel. The galvanising process of these axles make them resistant to rust and corrosion, making them manufactured to last.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which bins is this axle for?
It’s meant for 360 litre wheelie bins, which have larger wheel spacing than standard 240 L bins.
What material and coating is used?
Typically galvanised or zinc-plated steel to resist rust under outdoor conditions.
Is it pre-threaded or smooth?
Usually a smooth round bar — wheels and retaining hardware are added separately.
How do I install this replacement axle?
Remove old axle, align new one through axle holes, fit wheels, and secure with clips or caps.
Does it include washers or caps?
Usually not — only the bare rod. Washers, clips, or caps are reused or ordered separately.
Will it bend under heavy loads?
Not under standard bin loads. Bending might occur only if overloaded significantly.
Is 660 mm a universal length for 360 L bins?
It’s common, but always measure your bin's axle width before ordering to confirm fit.
How do I know when axle needs replacing?
Indicators include wobbling wheels, misalignment, or rusted sections that impede smooth rotation.
How long will it last outdoors?
With galvanised protection, many years (5–10+ years or more) depending on environment.
Can I cut it shorter if needed?
Yes, but ensure both ends are even and properly secured after cutting.
