Shuttering Plywood Sheets

Shuttering Plywood is made by gluing several softwood panels together to build a high-strength finished product with excellent loading bearing properties. In addition to this, the Plywood is WBP Structure Grade (Weather and Boil Proof). The main purpose of this Plywood is to provide a mould for pouring concrete.

The finish of this Plywood can vary depending on the wood used, some have a smooth finish, and some may contain knots. This however does not effect the durability and strength of the product.

What do you use shuttering plywood for?

Shuttering plywood is a type of plywood that’s used for creating temporary structures, or “shutters.” These structures are typically used to support concrete during the pouring and curing process. Once the concrete has cured, the shutters can be removed and reused on another project. Shuttering plywood is also commonly used to create partitions, or dividing walls between rooms.

Is shuttering plywood strong?

While shuttering plywood is not as strong as other types of plywood, it is still strong enough to provide a stable surface for concrete pourings. It is also more affordable than other types of plywood, making it a popular choice for construction projects.

Is shuttering plywood reusable?

Yes, shuttering plywood is reusable if taken care of properly. Make sure to clean the plywood after each use, as this will prevent dirt and debris from building up and damaging the wood. You should also store the plywood in a dry, protected area when not in use, and inspect the plywood regularly.
